Now that you have received your remanufactured cartridge you may notice a few things. First, attached to your cartridge is a protective plastic cover called a "clip". The clip protects the electronic connectors and nozzle circuits and helps seal the nozzle so that ink will not seep from them in shipping. Remove the clip.

Also note the Tech Label which has information about your cartridge. The weight (how full) and inspector are on it. Now install the cartridge in your printer. Many different fixture designs within the printers hold the cartridge in place.
